Youth project in Durham Region through "Seeds of Hope" campaign. The unveiling of the finished donated works by both the artists and students to be auctioned off to raise funds for on-going programs in the arts through Durham Family Court Clinic "Seeds of Hope" Campaign. VIP Tickets include advanced viewing of the art pieces, meet and greet with artists and private wine sampling. General admission tickets are also available to the public. Modern Batik Art Show
Sheri Gundry & a few students will be showing many Modern Batik Art and other Textile Arts at the Ajax Library Rotary Room Display throughout January 2010 until February 1st. There is a closing reception to meet the artists, will be demos in all mediums shown, music, light refreshments on January 31st from 1 - 5 pm

We were able to get 28 paintings up on the two walls where you enter into the Town Hall and the two receptionists were very pleased with their view for the next few months. We had passersby all day oohing and ahhhing and gasps of breath as they walked by and one of the receptionists said she has never seen a show like this one and that it seems to be seriously grabbing people's attention and they are instantly stopping to look.
